Midsommar
Directed by Ari Aster
The sun never sets. Neither does the dread.
A grieving student joins her boyfriend on a trip to a remote Swedish midsummer festival. A seemingly idyllic welcome slowly reveals the cost of belonging.
Why it stays with you
Flowers, daylight, and meticulous symmetry have rarely felt this wrong. Come for the folk horror; stay for the deeply uncomfortable relationship drama.
